Annual General Meeting 2022

On the 9th of May 2022, UiODoc will hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM). We welcome all PhDs and postdocs at the University of Oslo to attend the meeting to learn more about UiODoc’s work, have your say about our agenda, bring up anything for discussion, to get involved with our activities or simply to enjoy your afternoon with colleagues and good food.

UiODoc’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) is held once every year and will take place this year on the 9th of May 2022. We at UiODoc are here to represent PhDs and postdocs at UiO and in need of your participation at the meeting. The AGM is a great opportunity to learn more about UiODoc’s work and mission, and also to influence our future plans. It is also a good place to meet like-minded researchers on a temporary contract from all of the university.


During the meeting, the current UiODoc Board members will:

  • Introduce UiODoc in more detail
  • Report on our past activities (events, finances, etc.)
  • Present and discuss future plans
  • Propose adjustments to our current UiODoc’s statutes
  • Elect new members of the UiODoc Board for the Board year 2022-2023.
  • Have an open discussion of your concerns as a PhD or postdoc here at UiO - do you have any issues with the university administration or working conditions? Any suggestions for social and career activities aimed at PhDs and postdocs?

For the academic year of 2022-2023, we are looking for suitable candidates who would like to join us in the UiODoc executive board and are keen to contribute to our common goal of making life better and easier for temporary employees at UiO. Please find the board positions, responsibilities and tasks here. You can also check out the documents from previous meetings as well as our statutes of the board on our website. If you have any questions about becoming a Board Member or have ideas for our events or our agenda, you can contact the current board at styret@uiodoc.no.

As we need to order catering, we encourage participants to please register in advance until May 2nd: https://nettskjema.no/a/uiodocagm22.

After the formal part of the meeting, food will be served and there will be time to mix, mingle and meet other PhDs and postdocs from around UiO. If you are unable to attend in person, it will also be possible to attend through Zoom. Zoom link details will be sent to all participants through a follow-up email in the week before the AGM.
