The Federation of Norwegian Professional Associations, Akademikerne, was founded in 1997 and is a central employee organization in Norway.
We are a confederation of professional organizations with members who are highly trained and highly qualified. They include, but are not limited to, lawyers, engineers, psychologists, researchers, doctors, veterinary surgeons, clergy, social scientists, architects, business school graduates, economists, dentists, agronomists and officers in the armed forces.

Information regarding this year's annual local negotiations (2.5.1) - 2024 June 13, 2024 12:17 PM
The strike by Akademikerne and Unio was stopped by the government, with compulsory arbitration as the outcome. This means that this year's salary settlement in the state has still not been settled and it is unclear how this will affect this Autumn's local salary negotiations. There is currently no more information about how our basic collective agreement will be until the National Wages Board has processed it. The signals we have received so far are is that this will happen in October.
