Young talents – career opportunities beyond academia

This event is organized within Oslo Life Science 2018 which will be held from 12-15 February. With this seminar PhD-students, postdocs and Master´s students will have the opportunity to create networks outside academia. We have only 100 places for this event so fill out the form at the bottom of this page to make sure you get one of these places.

For PhD students, postdocs and Master´s students at UiO and NMBU

The seminar consists of three parts:

  • 01:00 PM – 02:30: A short introduction from people working outside of academia, inspirational talks, how they are working and how they got there – see list of speakers below
  • 03:00 PM– 04:30 PM: A speed networking event where students have the opportunity to sit down and talk to companies – the companies will we announced after 15 January 2018
  • 04:30 PM – 05:30 PM: A social event with refreshments where students and companies can mingle

The seminar has been developed in close collaboration with the PhD organizations at UiO and NMBU, UiODoc and SoDoc, as well as the student representative in the UiO:Life Science board.
