PhD and PostDoc breakfast club: Should I stay and should I go? Tips and thoughts on research mobility (and ways you can pay for it)

Join us for an interactive session with Tianfang Yang on research mobility, funding opportunities, and reflections on academic life abroad.

In this session titled “Should I Stay and Should I Go? Tips and Thoughts on Research Mobility (and Ways You Can Pay for It),” Tianfang Yang will offer an introduction to research mobility and reflect on its value for doctoral researchers. The session will cover practical aspects of planning a research stay abroad, possible funding opportunities, and key considerations for making the most of mobility experiences. Drawing on his recent six month mobility stay at the University of Minnesota, Tianfang will also share personal reflections on academic travel, international networking, and the broader role of mobility in shaping a research career.
