PhD and Postdoc Breakfast Club (zoom edition): Digital scholarship

UiODoc is ready for the year's very first PhD and Postdoc Breakfast Club! We hope you will join us in listening to Matthew Good's timely talk about his Digital Scholarship Center project and the increasingly important digital research.

The UiO Library, with support from UiO’s Center for IT and Research Administration, are in the early phases on building what is often referred to as a Digital Scholarship Center (DSC). The goal of the DSC is to support researchers with various digital research activities such as data management, visualization, and skills development. Matthew Good, project leader for the DSC project, will be joining us to talk about the project and how it will help you as a PhD student at UiO. You will also have an opportunity to provide feedback to the project and share any ideas you might have for future development.

Matthew has a PhD in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from the University of Oslo and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta. He has previous experience as a mechanical engineer, a policy analyst, and manager, and is currently employed by the Medicine and Science Library here at UiO.

In order to receive the zoom link, we'd like to ask you to register here: https://nettskjema.no/a/181627.
