Part of UiODoc’s mission is to create a meeting place for doctoral researchers from all over UiO. Therefore, our activities include not only the academic and career-oriented, but also a wide range of social activities aimed at making our working life here at UiO a bit brighter.
UiODoc’s usual social activities includes quizzes, excursions around Oslo and introductions to Norwegian culture. In addition to this, our breakfast clubs and other career events also offer possibilities for mingling, talking and meeting people – and often eating, too.
PLEASE NOTE that due to our common Zoom fatigue and the ban against social meetings during the current coronavirus pandemic, we have temporarily suspended social avtivities. We will resume our social events as soon as possible, when it becomes allowed to meet up again in groups.
