Katharina Vestre is a Doctoral Research Fellow in Cell Biology here at UiO and one of the lecturers for the Science Communication course MNKOM. She is an author of two books, ‘The Making of You’ and ‘The Animal Book of Records’ and a regular guest in the NRK radio science show Abels tårn.
In this talk, Katharina Vestre will tell you how she started doing science communication, what she learned along the way and why more researchers should get more involved in explaining science topics for the general public.
