Our esteemed guest speaker, Mari Suoheimo, will be sharing her remarkable journey of completing her Ph.D. in just three years, and how she swiftly became an associate professor in only 1.5 years after defending her dissertation. Mari will discuss the intriguing topics she found worth exploring both before, during, and after her doctorate, which set the foundation for her budding academic career. This talk is tailored for those of you who aspire to thrive in academia and evolve as dedicated researchers. We will delve into discussions and reflections on what defines a formidable researcher and academic professional.

Mari Suoheimo is an associate professor of service design at the Oslo School of Architecture and design. Her research concentrates on how to approach wicked problems in service design.
