In this PPDC event, Live Håndlykken Kvale will deliver a presentation on the principles and advantages of open research/science, particularly highlighting its significance for young researchers.

Live is a Senior Academic Librarian at University of Oslo Library working with research data management, data archiving, policy development, and skills and training since 2013. She holds a PhD in Social Sciences from Oslo Metropolitan University from 2022, focusing on knowledge transfer and stakeholders in research data sharing. Her research interests lie at the intersection of society and technology, particularly in knowledge-sharing infrastructure studies and scholarly communication, including open research, research data management, research support, personal privacy, and research ethics.
