PhD and Postdoc Breakfast Club: Being a supervisee – using insights from research to reflect on our role

Join us to have  a  candid discussion on being a supervisor using insights from research to reflect on our role—over coffee & breakfast!

Time and place: Apr – ,  Large meeting room 2531 at Georg Sverdrup's house

In our PhD and Postdoc Breakfast Club  event for April, we welcome  Hannah Mülder , Doctoral Research Fellow at the Department of Education, University of Oslo. With a background in interdisciplinary engineering and statistics, Hannah investigates student partnership, quality, and educational development in higher education.

In this interactive session titled  "Being a Supervisor – Using Insights from Research to Reflect on Our Role" , Hannah will explore supervision from the perspective of the supervisee. Drawing on research, personal experiences, and reflections, she invites us to consider how understanding ourselves as supervisees can give us more agency and allow us to co-create this essential relationship. We'll reflect together, share stories, and dig into what makes the PhD-supervisor connection thrive.
