With the visual presentation of our research data doing a lot of the talking – be it via articles, posters, and not to mention short social media posts – making sure that our results speak loudly and clearly has never been more important.
«Figures, maps, and datasets» is a presentation of the basic, sometimes unwritten, rules on how to present research results and other information. This is not a design course, however you will see some good and bad examples, and you will get some ideas of what you need in order to create a proper figure, map or table.
Again, please note that this edition of the breakfast club will be on Friday (as opposed to the usual Thursday). However, as per usual, breakfast will be served from 8:30am, with the presentation from 9:00-10:00.
