Writing is a big part of our day-to-day, so UiODoc would like to invite you to our next event, all about writing.
Barry Kavanagh mentors and teaches at the Academic Writing Centre, and also teaches English grammar and phonetics at the Department of Literature, Area Studies and European Languages. The talk will be about the writing process (high order concerns versus low order concerns; plus other advice); storytelling and dramatic curves in scientific writing (arcs, and structure); and how to make an English-language text better (principles of information flow).
