PhD and Postdoc Breakfast Club (zoom edition): Writing Grant Proposals

We may hate it or love it, but applying for grants is a major part of life in present-day academia. Grant proposal writing is therefore a life-saving skill - and for that reason we have invited UiO researcher Folmer Bokma to give us a talk on how to write excellent grant proposals.

In May's PhD & Postdoc Breakfast Club, we will listen to insights from an experienced UiO researcher about how we can write outstanding and succesful research grant proposals. We will of course also have the opportunity to direct any question we may have at the speaker.

About the speaker

Folmer Bokma is a researcher at the University's Centre for Ecological and Evolutionary Synthesis, at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. His main research interest is in reconciling micro- and macro evolution, and he has previous research experience from places such as Finland and Sweden as well as from work as a research coordinator for Umeå University.
