Emotions are our most important signal system: They tell us something about ourselves and our situation. This webinar will address what emotions are, how they can help us, and how emotions affect the relationship we have with ourselves and others. You will learn how stress affects your body and mind, and how to deal with stress. With simple exercises you will learn what we may need to help the nervous system when we are overwhelmed.
Course instructor Margrethe Standal Gleditsch is a psychologist and works at Institutt for Psykologisk Rådgivning in Oslo. She has specialised in awareness therapy and trauma treatment, and is passionate about teaching people to deal with human interactions, emotions and reactions to stress.
The webinar is open to all registered members in PhD and postdoctoral positions.
