The recent strike in the state resulted in compulsory arbitration by the National Wages Board so unfortunately we will not have a new collective agreement in the state until after the National Wages Board has dealt with the collective bargaining dispute. This will probably happen in October this year.

It will not be possible to initiate local 2.5.1 negotiations at UiO before the National Wages Board's decision is known. They may decide upon one agreement, or several agreements (we may keep the one we already have).
The Board of Forskerforbundet UiO will meet 23 August to discuss how to approach the situation and set the profile for our own priorities leading up to the negotiation. We hope to have more information for our members then.
