General Assembly
Our highest organ is the Generale Assembly (what most others call general assembly). Generale is held towards the end of each semester, and elects the Central Chomitee (what most others call board) for the coming semester.
The Central Chomitee
The Central Chomitee ( CC ) normally consists of eight people covering these positions.
- Administrærende Directeur (en: CEO)
- Board director and the orchestras contact point to the rest of the world. Plans gigs, and keeps everyone else alert.
- Musichalsk Læder (en: Conductor)
- The conductor leads the rehearsals and the orchestra during gigs and chooses our repertoire.
- Chapitalist (en: Head of Finance)
- Financial Chief (and de facto executive officer) keeps the books, makes the budgets, applies for financial support.
- Board members
- Up to four.
- The board is also responsible for:
- Resposible for Grava (our locale), organises lists of people to clean and follows up on these.
- Administer our instruments, lends them out, repairs and buys them.
- Keeps our large and ever-growing sheet music archive in order.
- Has control over incoming and outgoing mail, our library, and makes sure these websites are updated.
Further position
In addition to the CC positions there are a bunch of others often tied to specific arrangements of support functions. Such as "Medicine Man" or "IT-Responsibles"
