On an October afternoon we had the privilege of having a conversation with Daniel Maul in his office at Blindern. Daniel is a professor of international and transnational history at the University of Oslo, with a major research emphasis on global social history. In 2017, he helped to launch the Masterprogram in Modern International and Transnational History (MITRA) at the University. For this conversation we asked him about the fields of history he has researched and his reflections on working as a researcher in today’s society.
