Kindergarden-Parade 1

In Norway, May 17. is the National Day (more on that in Wikipedia), and schools typically parade through the city-centers around the country. However, kindergartens do not but often have their own parades  in the days leading up to may 17th. Around UiO there are several kindergartens (most affiliated either directly with UiO or with SIO) that rely on us for providing the musical backing a parade should entail. This day (or days) is often long and tiresome, but also one of the funniest and nicest in the year.

Usually, on the evening of the 16th we also have our Generale (General assembly), and on the morning the 17th it's the Galla breakfast with the Realist Society
