Information regarding this year's annual local negotiations (2.5.1) - 2024

The strike by Akademikerne and Unio was stopped by the government, with compulsory arbitration as the outcome. This means that this year's salary settlement in the state has still not been settled and it is unclear how this will affect this Autumn's local salary negotiations. There is currently no more information about how our basic collective agreement will be until the National Wages Board has processed it. The signals we have received so far are is that this will happen in October.

What happens now?

Until the National Wages Board has dealt with the dispute, the existing wage and working conditions apply. As an employer, UiO is waiting for information from the Ministry of Digitalisation and Public Governance about how to proceed, while Akademikerne-UiO is preparing for the local salary negotiations. In this year's salary settlement, we would like to, among other things, to negotiate individual salary adjustments, due to the background for the strike: https://www.akademikerne.no/hvorfor-streiker-akademikerne-i-staten (only in Norwegian).

Note. It is still largely unclear how this year's salary settlement will be. This includes the effective date, deadline for negotiations, the framework and the basic collective agreement. This also affects us locally. We still want to open up for individual salary claims now, so that we are ready when we receive information about the outcome in the National Wages Board.

We will send out more information before the summer break regarding deadlines and courses in writing individual salary claims.
