Jussubss' outreach work

A fundamental part of Jussbuss' work involves outreach to client groups who might not contact us otherwise. We visit adult education centres, Slumstasjonen in Oslo, Møteplassen in Oslo, libraries, Caritas, University of Oslo, OsloMet (former HiOA) and similar institutions. Jussbuss also visit prisons in Eastern Norway every week.

During our visits, we accept new cases at which individuals can ask about their own issues. We also hold presentations on the legal areas we specialize in, such as immigration law, labour law, debt and tenancy.

Jussbuss mainly visits institutions and organisations in Eastern Norway. However, we regularly travel to other parts of the country as well, to spread information about our work and provide legal aid to people who might not have heard of us.

Your organisation or institution can reach Jussbuss’ manager at 22 84 29 30 or leder@jussbuss.no for more information about our outreach projects or to coordinate a visit.

Below, you will find information about Jussbuss’ coming visits to institutions and organisations.

Because inmates in prison cannot come to our offices during opening hours, and many are subject to telephone restrictions, outreach work in Norwegian prisons has long been a high priority for Jussbuss. We normally travel to prisons every week to take in new cases from inmates.

Inmates can also call Jussbuss at 22 84 29 00 weekdays between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Jussbuss regularly visits the following prisons:

If you would like to receive an update regarding planned visits to a specific prison, please contact our manager at 22 84 29 30 or e-mail leder@jussbuss.no
