The Norwegian Bridge association will have a simultaneous tournament for beginners 2. and 3. March 2024. Akademisk Bridgeklubb will hos the tournament on Saturday 2. March in the cantina in the Chemistry building at Blindern.
A simultaneous tournament is a tournament were all clubs that participate plays the same set of boards. The results from all the clubs are then combined, and will be published by the Norwegian Bridge Association a few days after the tournament.
Our session of the tournament is free for members of the club, and costs NOK 50 for others. The tournament is for beginners, which will mean less than 3 Norwegian master points. The bidding sheets can be used by normal rules. There will be free food in a break halfway through the tournament.
There will be 24 boards. Scoring will be MP (regular pair scoring). The number of boards per round will depend on the participation. The participants must sign up in pairs on this NBF site for tournament registration. This page is in Norwegian only. Contact us (see below) if you need help with registration. At this point we can not guarantee a partner to everyone, but this may change.
Schedule:
11.00 - 13.30: session 1 (board 1 - 12).
13.30 - 14.00: break with free food.
14.00 - 16.30: session 2 (board 13 - 24).
