Oslo PsychScience

Oslo PsychScience evenings were initiated by Guro Engvig Løseth, journalist, studentfellow and student follwing the profession program at the Department of Psychology. As a journalist, she felt the young researchers at the Department needed opportunities to practise their dissemination skills. The PsyDoc board got interested and engaged easily, and hope to have Oslo PsychScience evenings at the beginning of each semester. This creates possibilities for students, staff and the general media to learn more about the interesting research at the Deparmtent of Psychology. .

Oslo PsychScience are Powered by PechaKucha events, and follow strict rules to the presentation format.

“Powered by PechaKucha” events are one-off events that are separate

from regular city-based PechaKucha Nights, and are usually held

as part of festivals and conferences, but can also act as standalone events.

These events include presentations that use the PechaKucha

20 images x 20 seconds format.
